General Information

 

VACAMSAN is a voluntary scientific association, a network of major training, research and development units of Vietnam in the multidisciplinary field of "Materials Science and Nanotechnology" with the following missions:

- A Forum for the information exchange between the members-units on their scientific activities: research themes, development and application projects, research facilities, seminars, publications, international cooperation activities, workshops, conferences etc.

- A platform for promoting and coordinating the voluntary bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the members-units.

- A focal point for promoting the collective international cooperation of the members-units.

The scientific guidance of the activities of VACAMSAN is performed by its Scientific Council. Each term of the Scientific Council is 4 years. The Founders of VACAMSAN are the members of the Scientific Council of the first term 2010 -2014.

The Scientific Council elects its Chairman by voting. The Chairman proposes the Candidate to the Secretary for the approval by the Council.

The Council meets once in a year. Its members regularly exchange information and discuss related issues by email.
